At Kenilworth Nursery School we seek to inspire and nurture the foundations of lifelong learning through the use of highly qualified excellent practitioners and the provision of a high quality secure and stimulating environment, which facilitates a wide range of learning opportunities for children. We recognise and celebrate the uniqueness of every child and believe each has capabilities and skills and offer a broad and creative curriculum. We foster trusting relationships that support children’s confidence and self esteem. Through careful observation and skilled work beside the child we encourage children to extend their thinking and engagement in learning opportunities and co-construct learning with the child.
“Tell me and I forget, show me and I remember, involve me and I understand” Chinese Proverb
Kenilworth Nursery School has been recognised as an ‘outstanding school’ in three consecutive Ofsted inspections and has been recognised nationally for its outstanding environment and work with children. We gained Early Years Teaching Centre status in 2011 due to the high quality teaching as part of a national research project for the DfE.
