Kenilworth Nursery School is a dynamic and vibrant Maintained Nursery School that provides high quality early education for children aged 2 to 4 years. The School is nationally recognised as innovative and creative and has developed a curriculum that recognises each child’s uniqueness. Our commitment to excellence is underscored by our prestigious ‘Outstanding’ rating from Ofsted in March 2021, marking our seventh consecutive accolade. Ofsted have commented that “Kenilworth Nursery School opens children’s eyes to learning”

Recognising the uniqueness of each child, with their distinct interests, learning styles, and cultural backgrounds, we foster a stimulating and secure learning environment. Through a diverse array of learning experiences, we empower children to construct new ideas, connect them with existing knowledge, and cultivate independence in their learning journey. Adults co-construct alongside children, supporting their curiosity and motivation as they develop learning behaviours that will support them throughout their lives. Collaboration with a resident artist ensures that creativity flourishes, enriching our vibrant and innovative setting.

At Kenilworth Nursery School, we prioritise partnership with parents, working co-responsibly with them, acknowledging and appreciating their invaluable contributions to their child’s education and the ongoing role as advocates for their children.

Our school has also been recognised as a Centre of Excellence, an Early Years Training Centre. We also partner the Centre for Research in Early Childhood (CREC) and offer training to the Early Years workforce via Warwickshire Early Years Hub.

Aligned with Whitnash Nursery School, our School operates under the leadership of the Executive Head Teacher, who also serves as a co-lead for the Warwickshire Early Years Hub and works on many DfE projects.
