We are delighted to have received a report that recognises the strengths of the School across all aspects, that included curriculum, teaching, safeguarding, achievement, leadership, behaviour and values, attendance, preparation for next steps, opportunities, and inclusion and belonging. As a Maintained Nursery School this was a full school inspection which was rigorous so we are pleased that our high quality across all aspects was evident. The additional feedback from the HMI also informed us that threads of exceptional practice were already evident and that we are well on our way to achieving the highest standards as we become further recognised and valued nationally in our work.
This Ofsted recognition was followed shortly after with news that our Federation of Nursery schools, Kenilworth & Whitnash, have just been designated by the Department for Education to lead a national Early Years Stronger Practice Hub. We are now preparing to provide support and advice for the early years’ workforce across Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Coventry. We are now 1 of 36 national Early Years Hubs which is further recognition of the high quality of our educational offer in each of our Nursery Schools and that we really do provide the best start in life for young children.
I am so please that our very skilled staff team has been recognised and valued as a vital part of early years system leadership and that we can now continue our role in supporting and training others.
